Lead Data Engineer

Overview

Design & maintain full-stack data pipelines & tools for manufacturing and repair ops.

Tasks

-Work with overseas suppliers to debug and root-cause failed tests and data transfers. -Provide design considerations for current and next generation products. -Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to streamline data collection and management. -Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications and tools for our Manufacturing and Repair Operations. This includes creating and maintaining intuitive front-end interfaces for operators and robust back-end services to manage data. -Design and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline data collection, reporting, analysis and system integrations. -Identify deficiencies in all areas of existing operations workflow and implement CI/CD changes to address.

What You Bring

-8+ years of experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying data system pipelines -Strong Linux background -Strong knowledge of SQL queries and database management -Proficiency in AWS, Docker, and other cloud solutions -Strong back-end development skills with Python and Java -Expert in managing multiple GitHub repositories -Track record of commitment to prior employers -In-depth understanding of Design for Testability (DFT) -Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a modern framework like React, Angular, or Vue.js. -Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance and able to handle multiple tasks -Competence in data mining, analysis, and visualization -When you join CoStar Group, you’ll experience a collaborative and innovative culture working alongside the best and brightest to empower our people and customers to succeed. -Must be able to work with various database types (MariaDB, Snowflake, SQL Server) -BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. -Hands-on, detail-oriented, and organized
