Tasks

-Develop organizational, communication, and coordination skills. -Support Development of Top Brands: Opportunity to work behind the scenes supporting efforts for industry leaders like McDonald’s, Starbucks, and 7-Eleven. -Set the Standard: Be a role model for professional behavior, fostering a workplace culture that motivates and inspires others. -Assist in verifying and processing payment documentation for contractors and vendors. -Champion Key Initiatives: Play a vital role in driving Sevan-wide initiatives like Safety and Sustainability, ensuring positive impacts for our people and the planet. -Build an understanding of the construction project lifecycle from real estate planning through closeout. -Participate in assembling and distributing reports for internal and external stakeholders. -Support in drafting, distributing, and tracking contracts, purchase orders, and change orders to subcontractors/suppliers. -Assist in setting up projects in client and/or company project management systems, including uploading and organizing required documentation. -Help update project status and key milestone dates under the direction of project team members. -Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the duration of projects. -Support the collection, coordination, and submission of close-out materials required by project owners.

What You Bring

-Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a changing work environment -Strong attention to detail -Ability to tolerate ambiguity and be able to work effectively within a diverse workplace -Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet, preferred -Lives in the Baltimore or DC area and ability to work in a remote setting -Learn to use industry-standard project management tools and systems. -Learn and practice maintaining confidentiality with sensitive or proprietary project information. -In progress: 4-year degree in construction management, business management, or related field seeking project coordinator or project management positions post-graduation. -Ability to prioritize and handle diverse workload -Strong ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the project team including management, project management, clients, client’s organization, contractors, and vendors
