The Role
Overview
Ensures safety compliance and performance for emission services, supporting EHS activities.

Tasks
-Inspect / Audit workplace environments, activities, and conditions to verify compliance with local, state and OSHA requirements -Develop periodic written communications, such as ”Safety Flashes” and “Safety Toolbox Talks” to reinforce relevant topics -Perform written program audits, track action items to closure, and assist local offices in completing necessary tasks -Drive standardization of EHS practices through the teams to achieve continuous improvement in EHS performance -Build interpersonal relationships with the EHS Director and Emission Services Operations Management to achieve a high level of safety performance across the area of responsibility -Provide EHS support to customer locations that include major refineries, chemical plants, power plants, and other testing facilities -Measure and report on KPIs and utilize EHS systems to foster improved EHS performance improvement -Assist with and/or investigate and document incidents with local teams, and develop meaningful corrective actions -Complete assigned projects and tasks in a timely manner -Prepare periodic safety posters, safety meeting materials, newsletters, etc., to share with local offices -Develop and deliver training modules for EHS tasks -Identify problems related to safety/compliance, and present and implement solutions -Work with line management to proactively ensure compliance with government regulations, customer, and company requirements

What You Bring
-When not traveling, must physically work from most proximate office a minimum of three (3) days per week, based on business demand -Ability to walk on uneven surfaces when at other facilities or project locations -OSHA 10-hour, 30-hour, and/or 40-hour HAZWOPER, a plus -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related business applications/software (required) -Knowledge and experience with, but not limited to, hands-on training is a plus -Graduated Safety Professional (GSP) and/or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credentials, a plus -1-5 years of relevant safety work experience (required) -Experience in with LDAR / OGI services, a plus -Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or Environmental or related field (required) -Ability to work at a desk and/or computer for extended hours -Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally. -General knowledge of Federal / State OSHA and OHS / Provincial requirements -Ability to work from heights and wear a respirator. -Ability to work independently and in a team environment -Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record -Ability to climb ladders and stairs and navigate industrial facilities. -Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks with competing priorities (required) -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Prior Occupational Health or Industrial Hygiene experience, a plus
