The Role

Overview

Perform advanced HVAC maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in industrial/logistics sites

Tasks

-Document work accurately in BAS and CMMS systems, including labor hours, parts used, and maintenance performed. -Support and mentor other technicians by providing technical guidance and system expertise. -Participate in client meetings and on-call rotations as needed. -Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and compliant with standards. -Lead technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex system issues. -Regularly required to document work in CMMS and BAS systems. -Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize system uptime. -Movement between departments, floors, and facilities will be required. -Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area at all times. -Maintain and repair HVAC systems including chillers, heat pumps, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, fans, and associated controls.

What You Bring

-Ability to guide peers informally and support team development without direct supervisory authority. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Proficiency with CMMS systems and basic computer applications. -HVAC trade school certification or equivalent technical training. -Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with fluctuating temperatures. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control sequences. -Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and advanced control strategies. -Ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs. frequently. -Tasks require proper use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and composite toe shoes. -Demonstrated technical problem-solving skills in critical systems environments. -Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of complex HVAC and MEP systems. -5+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in industrial or regulated environments. -EPA/CFC certification (required). -Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required. Travel between sites will be a requirement of the role.
