Overview

Assess and restore building systems, manage projects, deliver reports and oversee construction.

Tasks

-Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates assessments, inspections and testing of property, buildings and roofs. -Interacts directly with client and project team on developing scope of services, communicating project progress and findings and recommendations. -Participates in professional and technical presentations and authors technical papers. -Career level Facilities professional responsible for managing complex, detailed portfolios and projects. -Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects. -Makes recommendations, adaptations and modifications. -Prepares or oversees preparation of client proposals and related cost estimates. -Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. -Serves as a technical adviser to junior-level project team members. -Prepares routine and complex client deliverables.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in building science or related building field and 7-10 years’ experience in facility assessment. Or, in lieu of a degree, 11-14 years’ related experience. -Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history. -Active in local/regional technical and business organizations. -Facility Management Professional (FMP), or other relevant certification (BECxP, LEED AP)
