The Role
Overview
Lead client-focused power generation projects, managing proposals, budgets, and teams.

Tasks
-Routinely report project progress to the local and regional accounting and operations team. -Achieve project schedule, quality, and profitability goals. -Develop and maintain positive and proactive client relationships. -Provide regular communication and coordination within the project team and with the client such that the project work plan and the client’s expectations on deliverables are understood and aligned. Monitor project deliverables for quality, completeness and conformance to the client’s expectations. -Provide training and mentoring to project team staff on project management and project consulting issues. -Serve as proposal champion/manager and assist with proposal preparation, review of contract terms and conditions, and evaluate risks associated with the services being offered. -Provide daily leadership to the project team and technical staff in completion of project activities. -Monitor the contracted scope of work and identify scope changes. -Guide design or consulting work in the manager’s area of engineering expertise. -Proactively monitor and maintain the project budget and schedule. Develop appropriate recovery plans in the event of potential shortfalls.

What You Bring
-10 years related experience -Minimum 10 years of relevant power generation project experience. -A minimum of 5 years of project management experience -Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; or combination of Degree and Relevant Project Experience. -Registered Professional Engineer -Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills -Bachelor's degree in related field -Demonstrated business development skills. -Experience designing or managing simple cycle and combined cycle EPC projects as owner, owner’s engineer, OEM, or EPC contractor. -Have the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects. -MS Office, Adobe, and other relevant software experience. -PMP Certification -Good communication, leadership, planning, and mentoring skills.
