Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator

Description

• Assist in subcontractor procurement, bid evaluations, and negotiation of commercial terms.
• Assist with reviewing contracts and identifying commercial and financial risks.
• Help manage subcontractor payments, variations, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).
• Participate in site visits to monitor progress and verify cost and contract accuracy.
• Support project forecasting, cost control, and preparation of monthly progress claims.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Prepare cost reports, performance updates, and forecasts for senior team review.

Requirements

This role requires four days on-site and one day in the West Perth office each week, with weekends off.

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn.
• Good problem-solving ability and confidence working under pressure.
• Strong Excel and Word skills; familiarity with cost or reporting tools is advantageous.
• 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, or a similar commercial role within construction or utilities.
• Ability to travel to the site as required under the FIFO roster.
