The Role

Overview

Engineering and construction internship with CAD, GIS, and field work exposure

Tasks

-Assisting with field work for data collection, site inspections and observations. -Monitor and record the work and progress of contractors while tracking material quality and usage -Work with field inspections teams for oversight of transportation construction projects -Preparing spreadsheets, and graphs, and figures for design reports -Performing simple calculations, computer data entry, along with some exposure to CAD, GIS, design, and Civil 3D -Observe and attend meetings with project stakeholders -Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives. -Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.
