Regional EHS Manager

Overview

Oversee regional EHS programs, compliance, training, and reporting.

Tasks

-Handles the documentation and reporting of safety related records and materials in keeping with both internal and external requirements -Supports and assists the Regional Vice President, Regional Operations Manager(s), Office Managers, Project Directors/ Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and all other management personnel in the establishment and application of safe practices throughout the region -Conduct or lead training in applicable EHS areas -Close collaboration and coordination with Central Executive team and other Regional EHS Managers -Work with senior management to ensure organization’s EHS compliance -Works directly with CRB Management to balance safety requirements with production goals to ensure compliance with safety-related regulations, systems, and practices -Evaluate programs and issue recommendations and implement change -Design and implement EHS programs -Manage emergency response incidents -Implement corrective actions

What You Bring

-Ability to influence -Excellent tact and diplomacy in dealing with others and the ability to deal with all levels of management, from field to corporate levels -Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Health, and/or Environmental (or similar) from an accredited college or university or equivalent relevant experience required -Exceptional communication skills -Proficiency with mobile devices and mobile form -Strong analytical skills -Case management/worker’s comp knowledge -Seven to ten years of relevant work experience or demonstrates competencies consist with the role -Exceptional with mobile devices and mobile forms -Capable of completing work assignments with little supervision -ASP, CSP, CIH, CFPS or CHMM certification -Strategic thinking abilities
