Tasks

The Assistant Superintendent will assist in leading and managing field teams while overseeing day-to-day site operations. The role includes maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating subcontractors and materials, supporting inspections, collaborating with the project management team, and upholding company guidelines and jobsite orderliness. -Assist with daily, progress, and compliance reporting -Support project planning and scheduling updates -Promote safety as a core principle and raise concerns as needed -Review project documents to anticipate RFIs and coordination needs -Communicate delivery needs to the superintendent and project team -Contribute to closeout and owner turnover -Assist with managing field operations and supporting the site team -Document subcontractor issues and performance -Review approved submittals and verify installed work aligns with specifications -Enforce safety, cleanliness, and quality standards -Perform rough carpentry tasks when needed, including layout, blocking, minor demolition, and basic formwork -Coordinate subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries

What You Bring

-Strong verbal and written communication skills -Degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience -Proficiency with construction software -2+ years of ground-up commercial or multifamily construction background preferred -OSHA 30 certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year
