  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve structural engineering problems encountered during design process.
  • Good experience of using software like ETABS & SAFE.
  • Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of loads & load paths
  • Ability to work in a team, lead a team of junior engineers and technicians to deliver quality drawings and documents.
  • Bachelor/master’s degree in structural engineering from reputed institute preferably through GATE qualification
  • Work experience with international codes, Middle east experience preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate and negotiate structural requirements with other trades.
  • Hands on experience in analysis design of reinforced concrete structures like high-rises, stadiums, airports, malls, Culverts, Tanks etc.
  • Aware of quality procedures & technical report writing skills.
  • Should be open for short travel and deputation to other countries/offices, when required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend drawings of other trades – Architectural, MEP, transportation etc.
  • Candidates should have core design experience of 5-15 years in design of concrete structures.
  • Understanding of Seismic and Wind load parameters with applicable design approaches
  • Exposure to construction techniques and practices in middle east
  • Knowledge of international Codes and Standards
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to estimate, plan and implement design programs to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Ability to formulate and make excel sheets or prepare programs to facilitate routine tasks in analysis & design.
