Learning and Development Manager

Overview

Design and deliver sales and leadership learning programs across PPG's centres and field teams.

Tasks

-Develop and execute comprehensive learning strategies to align with the company’s sales and business objectives, ensuring the continuous development of employees. -Develop and implement internal and external leadership training initiatives, such as mentorship/coaching programmes, leadership seminars, and strategic development workshops. -Provide coaching and support for emerging leaders, helping them develop critical leadership competencies such as strategic thinking, decision-making, and team management. -Measure and track the effectiveness of training programmes using KPIs, assessments, and feedback mechanisms. -Identify high-potential employees and design programmes to support the development of future leaders within the organisation. -Utilise the latest software and learning tools (e.g., LMS, digital platforms, virtual classrooms) to design and implement innovative, interactive, and scalable learning programmes. -Design, implement, and deliver engaging and effective sales training programmes -Collaborate with business leaders and HR to understand team skill gaps and create tailored learning solutions. -Regularly evaluate the impact of learning initiatives on business performance, sales targets, employee engagement, and retention. -Provide regular reporting on training outcomes to senior leadership, offering insights into programme effectiveness and areas for improvement. -Evaluate current capabilities throughout workforce and link to relevant training, working closely with our Commercial Excellence team to ensure an aligned approach. -Foster a culture of continual learning and development within the organisation.

What You Bring

-Experience in developing and delivering sales training for large, diverse teams, including in-store and field-based employees. -Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Learning Management Systems. -Demonstrated experience in leadership development, with a track record of designing and implementing leadership training programmes -Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. -Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. -Strong analytical skills to assess learning effectiveness, track KPIs, and report on ROI. -Experience in coaching, mentoring, and supporting career development across diverse employee levels. -Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives. -Awareness of DE&I Strategies and how we can incorporate this into our strategies -Data-driven approach to evaluating training outcomes and making improvements. -Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on sales training and CRM systems. -Ability to assess individual and organisational development needs and tailor training programmes accordingly. -Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
