Perform welding, assembly, and minor repairs on turbine and combustion components.

Tasks
-Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of third parties. -perform minor Turbine repairs (Class A to Class B) -Install accessories on Combustion components -Communicate effectively with subordinates and management at all levels. -Install accessories in components per work instruction. -Perform TPMs on equipment. -Read, interpret and perform all operations as necessary per drawings and/or work instructions. -Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources. -Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. -perform minor on Combustion repairs (Class A to Class B) -Install accessories on Turbine components

What You Bring
-Demonstrate capability and aptitude to learn then teach various preheat and post-heat equipment and appropriate welding techniques using TIG and MIG. -General knowledge of all other shop processes -Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. -Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. -Pass qualification test per AWS D17.1 and accepted by MHPS level 3 inspector. -Multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and does so with minimal supervision -Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. -Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; or at least one (1) year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Understand penetrant applications and inspection methods (i.e. red-dye, fluorescent penetrant)
