Tasks

-Research companies, landlords, and potential subtenants -Proactively assist client in managing their real estate portfolio to achieve cost reduction, financial and occupancy optimization, monetization and other client goals -Occasionally perform complex financial analyses (e.g., headquarters, master plans, sale leasebacks, etc.) -Support and participate in simple lease acquisitions and dispositions -Assist in developing strategies and supporting models for complex real estate transactions -Monitor and evaluate implementation programs against strategy and provide timely reporting of the effectiveness of the strategy against implementation results -Gather and evaluate real estate market and property data including: Conducting market calls, Previewing space opportunities, Developing fact sheets and tour books, Gathering photos and floor plans as necessary -Integrate complex occupancy scenario planning into financial analysis -Establish a strong and trusted relationship with the client -Manage routine transactions in the DC/MD/VA market -Strategically utilize other corporate service lines to deliver optimal results -Work with the client and account leaders to set business and real estate strategies and execute on those objectives -Review lease documents, write lease summaries and abstracts, and review other materials as part of the due diligence process -Qualitatively and quantitatively evaluate client building alternatives and lease options

What You Bring

-Strong financial, analytical, and reporting skills -Real estate brokerage or salespersons license and LEED certification desired -Ideal candidate will have 3+ years commercial real estate transactional experience -Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners and clients -Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the capability to master company specific database programs -Experience with modeling complex occupancy scenarios, including multi-facility consolidations, city plans and metro area consolidations -Possess fundamental understanding of real estate and lease terminology -Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information -Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics or related field required -Experience with managing basic lease transactions such as renewals and relocations -Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload -Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills -Understanding of and commitment to client services
