The Role

Overview

Manage inventory, receive, issue, and organize spare parts in the warehouse.

Tasks

-Sort, organize ans store inventory in the proper location -Monitor and take inventory on regular basis to compile orders based on par levels or needs. -Loading and unloading of parts and Tires -Maintain clear and organized records to ensure all reports and invoices are filed and stored properly. -Maintain the warehouse neat and tidy -Verify all goods arrived as per the purchase order, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received. -Ensure the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches. -Load/ unload parts with proper care -Follow all standards for issuing and receiving stock within the store's area of operation

What You Bring

-Customer Service: Ability to provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. -Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items, if necessary. -Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to verify parts and maintain accurate records. -Package items and label correctly -Proficiency in Inventory Systems: Familiarity with inventory management software or systems is desirable. -Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of heavy equipment and its components could be beneficial. -Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities for managing inventory and ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of parts. -Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. -Experience: Previous experience in a store or warehouse environment, particularly in spare parts management, is preferred.
