Tasks

-Utilize analysis results to design gravity and lateral load resisting systems for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood buildings using various building codes -Prepare technical reports -Monitor the contractor’s conformance with the structural design intent by reviewing shop drawings, answering RFIs, and performing field observation site visits -Advance the structural engineering design, coordination, detailing and drawing production of assigned projects, providing direction, guidance, and supervision to project staff as appropriate

What You Bring

-Possess engineering licensure in at least one state -Bachelor’s Degree or above in Civil Engineering (structural emphasis preferred) -Passed either the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam or the NCEES Structural Engineering (SE) exam (SE preferred) -Communicate with clients and other design team members verbally and in writing as needed to achieve project goals -Minimum of 4 years of relative experience (Advanced degree can be considered as relative experience) -Perform structural analysis, utilizing knowledge of engineering “first principals”, for all types of structural systems and elements.
