Tasks

-You will ensure strategic procurement for rail components, specifically for spare parts, and consolidate purchasing activities across locations and projects to achieve optimal global conditions, supported by a well-developed and actively managed supplier portfolio for our Customer Services business. -You will conduct complex price and contract negotiations, including eSourcing activities. -Your responsibilities will also include demand and market analysis, contract management, and cost controlling. -You will contribute to the product and supplier development process and drive cost reduction initiatives (e.g., standardization, design-to-cost). -You will prepare and independently execute sourcing decisions based on total cost of ownership (ToCO). -You will lead a global cross-functional team and strengthen collaboration with interface partners across all Siemens Mobility Business Units.

What You Bring

-You have extensive experience in strategic procurement, ideally complemented by cross-functional expertise in a related field. -You are fluent in English; German language skills are considered an advantage -You demonstrate strong negotiation, facilitation, and project management skills. -You are accustomed to working in international teams and are skilled in modern negotiation techniques. -You possess in-depth knowledge of contract law and advanced process understanding within supply chain management. -You are confident in presenting both technical and commercial content. -You hold a master’s degree in engineering or business administration.
