Tasks

You will be responsible for setting out using Leica equipment, managing QA processes, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. The role involves close collaboration with Tier 2 subcontractors - experience in this environment is highly preferable - and requires a strong understanding of civil engineering and utilities construction. -Managing QA documentation, as-built surveys, and daily site records. -Working closely with site management to ensure programme and H&S compliance. -Delivering water infrastructure and civil engineering packages to high standards. -Providing technical input and practical solutions to on-site challenges. -Setting out and surveying using Leica instruments. -Supporting and coordinating works of Tier 2 subcontractors.

What You Bring

As a Site Engineer with J Coffey Infrastructure, you will play a key role in delivering a long-term water infrastructure and groundworks project based in Droitwich. This is a hands-on, site-based position requiring strong technical ability, accuracy, and proactive coordination with on-site teams. -Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering / infrastructure -CSCS card (required), SSSTS/SMSTS advantageous -Strong understanding of groundworks and utilities (ideally water-related) -Experience working for and with Tier 2 subcontractors – highly preferable -Full UK driving licence -Competent with Leica total stations and GPS equipment
