Tasks
-This role will involve participating in a wide variety of water resources and municipal infrastructure projects, from planning and conceptual design to detailed design and construction support. -Coordinate and provide design / hydraulic modeling support for various studies associated with multidisciplinary waterrelated projects, including water conveyance, transportation, environmental, and community development projects. -Attending internal, client and contactor meetings and documenting the meetings with minutes. -Our team collaborates on projects coast to coast in Canada and internationally. We are a highperforming, collaborative team that successfully delivers projects to various clients. As part of the Water Resources Team, you will contribute to helping our clients manage their sanitary, stormwater, and water systems. You will also rely on expertlevel guidance from senior engineers in the company. -Assist and/or undertake field investigations supporting hydraulic/hydrologic model builds and conceptual/functional designs. -Writing reports and design briefs. -Interpret and communicate model results in technical reports, design briefs and presentations to internal and external clients. -Coordinating design drawings and specification development. -Develop hydrologic models and perform hydrologic calculations to estimate stormwater runoff quantities. -Develop stormwater (piped and overland flow), wastewater collection, and water distribution system hydraulic models to assess performance, investigate system deficiencies and generate/evaluate feasible remedial solutions. -Contribute to the conceptual design, preliminary design and detailed design of water related projects including site civil, conveyance and water resources projects. -Project coordination and providing assistance to various project managers on a variety of projects. -Collaborate with senior engineers and hydrologic/hydraulic modelers and project leaders to ensure that the projects’ needs are met and priorities are understood.

What You Bring
-A strong knowledge of municipal infrastructure design and construction. -Experience analyzing and managing data, interpreting hydraulic model results and producing clear visuals to demonstrate results. -Registered with APEGA as an EIT or P.Eng. (or eligible to register) -Strong interpersonal, time management and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to produce robust technical writing pieces (e.g. reports or proposals). -Experience in developing (building), calibrating and interpreting hydraulic/hydrologic models. -Sound understanding of water, environmental principles, and engineering concepts, including hydraulics and hydrology. -Highly skilled in common desktop packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.) -Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, responsibilities and projects and adjust to changing demands. -Minimum 2 years of demonstrated related experience. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university, preferably in the water resources and/or environmental disciplines. -Working knowledge of industrystandard hydraulic/hydrologic modelling tools, including InfoWorks CS/ICM, MIKE Suite, PCSWMM, WaterCAD, HECRAS, ArcGIS, Global Mapper, AutoCAD, and/or Civil 3D. -The following would be considered assets: Previous experience working with municipalities, utility owners or in engineering consulting. -Application of AI to engineering and modelling tasks.
