Tasks
-Work on behalf of, and in concert, with the Hensel Phelps Construction Co. teams. -Interface, coordinate, and directly manage the associated MEPF trade partners through plan development, inspections, and ultimately the Cx testing process. -The individual in this position will periodically walk, kneel, sit, crouch, reach, stoop, read/see, speak, push, pull, lift, stand, and finger/type. The frequency of each action varies by workflow and field activity. -Manage a team of individuals to deliver the Operational Project Readiness (OPR) and be the primary driver of the Commissioning Management (CxM) services on multiple projects. -Review contract documents (design drawings, submittals, shop drawings, specifications, etc) for program/project understanding, constructability, operability, and functionality requirements. -Coordinate and manage the Level 4/5 Cx testing on behalf of Hensel Phelps Construction Co. -Review Level 2 and 3 Cx Scripts -Establish testing/certification requirements for each piece of equipment for documentation management through Cx software platform. -Develop agenda and lead project Cx team meetings communicating the Cx schedule, sequencing, constraints, and issues. -Oversee the management and document control of the Cx progress via the commissioning software platform -Constantly reads written communications and views mail submissions. Will also need to read blueprints and take/verify field measurements. -Climbing – Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding and ramps at various heights. -Documentation of MEPF equipment inspections and testing. Track and drive issue resolution to support the start-up and commissioning process. -Develop and maintain Cx schedule based upon the CPM milestones and in the scheduling program required by the Contract Documents. -Develop a project-specific commissioning plan and project execution plan per Hensel Phelps’ templates and in accordance with the Contract Documents. -Oversee implementation of Cx progress visual tracking/status tools -Communicate complex issues effectively in written format & oral presentation to clients. -Stooping – Bending the body downward and forward by the spine at the waist.

What You Bring
-A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, preferably in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical, construction management, Engineering, or MEP Construction Management. -Verification of Work Authorization and Employment Eligibility -Ability to work collaboratively in mobile work environment. -Computer software - Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Cloud. -Possess strong written communication skills and be detail oriented. -Physical Exam (if applicable) -Must possess a valid driver’s license. -Balancing – Ability to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling and to walk, stand or crouch. -Heavy Work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. -Background Checks for Badging/Security Clearances (if applicable) -Visual acuity and ability to operate a vehicle as certified and appropriate. -Strong working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems. -Sometimes operates a computer or tablet and other office machinery, such as a calculator and phone. -Ability to recognize, troubleshoot, document, and optimize facilities processes. -Has a good understanding of the critical facility environment, including hospitals, airports, and data centers. -Grasping – Needs to apply pressure to an object with fingers and palm regularly. -Software proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint). -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Walking - The person in this position needs to frequently move about the jobsite. -Reaching – Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction for various lengths of time. -Ability to read and interpret financial data relating to facilities. -Strong project management skills. -Must be able to function as part of a high-performance team. -P6 and/or MS Project Experience -Minimum (10) years of experience in commercial construction with an MEPF/building controls contractor, general contractor, and/or Cx agency.
