Tasks

-Manage and oversee small payroll for both US and CDN entities -Manage all accounting, compliance, and tax across Canada/U.S. -Be a hands on Controller supervising and mentoring a growing team of 2 responsible for AP, AR and Payroll. -Lead closes, consolidate reporting, and control cash flow.

What You Bring

-Corporate or shared services experience an asset -CPA designation with 10+ years progressive experience in an accounting or finance leadership role. -Proven ability to manage accounting across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions -Strong understanding of both Canadian and U.S. GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements -Experience supporting construction, building material or project-based service businesses preferred -Proficiency in accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Great Planes, Netsuite or similar ERP platforms -Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset
