The Role

Overview

Operate vacuum tankers to collect and transport sewage sludge safely between sites.

Tasks

-Attend and contribute positively to meetings, utilize STW IT systems, and always demonstrate safe and professional behaviors. -Perform and record daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects and ensuring vehicles are clean and roadworthy. -Safely operate STS vacuum tankers, collecting and transporting sewage sludge or other non-hazardous wastes between STS sites in compliance with procedures and legislation. -Operate tankers professionally to project a positive image of STS to the public. -Liaise with departments such as Transport, Operations, and Maintenance, maintaining regular communication with the Line Manager and other relevant parties.
