Overview

Support stakeholder liaison, manage communications, and assist the manager on infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-Reviewing / updating communications strategy designed to ensure efficient, coordinated and transparent communications. -Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholder queries and will ensure that consistent messaging is delivered to stakeholder, both in internal and external, particularly around the impact of upcoming developments and disruptions. -Be required to support in overseeing the Design and Build Contractors in their stakeholder management of the Schemes under their management. -conducting stakeholder management activities in high value road and / or infrastructure projects -Dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organization influencing the improvement of process and providing guidance to support project delivery and reporting; and -Web design and content production. -Report to programme / project team and senior governance levels on progress against the stakeholder management strategy. -Reviewing / updating stakeholder management strategies (including processes, procedures, controls, systems and reporting) to ensure they are fit for purpose. -Assist in overseeing communications with the stakeholder group throughout the delivery of the scheme under their remit in line with the any stakeholder management strategy (including processes, procedures, controls, systems and reporting) -Assume responsibility for supporting the Stakeholder Relations Manager in building relationships, and overseeing the management of the Stakeholder group.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices and systems is desirable, preferably within the construction sector. -It is desirable for the Stakeholder Liaison Support to possess the following skills: -Further demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following is desirable: -Ability to work in a challenging environment both on their own initiative and as part of a team. -Required to have 3+ years’ experience in stakeholder management and a proven track record of -Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies. -Required to have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area e.g. public relations or business. -Best practice communication tools and social media channels. -Ability to deal with and resolve unforeseen risks and issues. -Ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and deliver consistent service. -Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure high quality service delivery. -Ability to step back from the detail and take a holistic overview. -High level of attention to detail. -Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. -Ability to manage client expectations and deliver within agreed parameters; and
