The Role

Overview

Support PMs & QSs with tender, procurement, budgets, variation tracking, and final accounts.

Tasks

-Assist with the production and agreement of final accounts -Supporting with tenders and tender documentation -Reviewing project spend and the preparation of budgets -Preparing master tender documentation -Assisting the Commercial team with procurement -You will be dealing with suppliers, sub-contractors and clients so being able to communicate effectively and build working relationships is important. -Management and administering of sub-contractor accounts -Organising supply chain quotations -Reviewing and analysing supply chain quotations -Assisting the Project Management team with a variety of activities -Tracking project change or variations that occur -Assist with the preparation of final accounts and claim documents -Assist with the preparation of financial reports

What You Bring

-You don’t need any construction qualifications, what’s important to us is your enthusiasm, reliability and commitment to your job and the business. -Good knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel is required, along with good numeracy and organisational skills. -A full clean driving licence is required.

Services include pre-contract services, post-contract services and Final Accounts. This means you get to see the full life cycle of a construction project, but not just from your desk, as they encourage site visits so you can see the projects first-hand. Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum Training, development and mentoring is at the heart of ST1’s commitment to progressing new talent and is provided to our whole team. In the role you will be well supported by a team of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers who will be on hand to learn from and ask questions to. -33 days of annual leave -On-site car parking -Competitive salary and pension -Hybrid working -Company laptop and mobile phone will be provided
