Senior Accounting Analyst – Touring show operations

Overview

Lead accounting team, manage complex contracts, reporting, budgeting, and finance operations for touring shows.

Tasks

-Actively participate in reviewing processes in your sector of activity in order to optimize methods and ensure the implementation of new processes (optimization strategy; definition of roles and responsibilities for each level of stakeholder, analysis of needs, proposal of new methods, review of the relevance of tools used, and implementation of new systems). -Actively participate in the budget, forecast, and strategic planning process for your business unit; -Supervise projects, determine objectives in line with strategies, and ensure deadlines and quality of work performed with respect to deliverables; -Ensure the accounting of transactions for more complex contracts or territories; -Produce financial reports on a regular basis, prepare and review monthly variance analyses (actual vs. budget vs. forecast); -Participate in the review of annual audit and tax files; -Support all projects in the finance department. -Participate in and coordinate the weekly and quarterly cash flow process; -Serve as the Finance liaison with the touring teams and various operational stakeholders; -Coordinate the work of accounting analysts and technicians;

What You Bring

-Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines; -Ability to adapt to change with agility; -Knowledge of US GAAP accounting standards is an asset; -Knowledge of Microsoft applications in a Windows environment, particularly Excel; -Strong leadership and communication skills; -Knowledge of SAP and Longview is an asset; -Fluency in spoken and written French and English. -Sharp analytical mind, able to make connections to see the big picture; -Over five years of experience in accounting and analysis; -CPA accounting designation;
