The Role

Overview

Entry-level civil engineer designing and supporting transportation infrastructure projects.

Tasks

-May include onsite construction observation duties during the construction phase of projects. -Receive mentorship and guidance from senior level Civil Engineers through a variety of civil engineering projects. -Assist in client contact and communications. -Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams such as CAD designers, engineers, subcontractors to complete projects safely, on time, and with high quality. -Perform redlines on project drawings, pull technical reports and complete quantity calculations and assist with project cost estimates.

What You Bring

-Experience in the design and construction of state DOT and county highway projects preferred. -Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes. -Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related Engineering degree. -Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. -0-3 years of experience in Civil Engineering -Experience operating MicroStation, Geopak, and/or AutoCAD preferred.
