Architect - Healthcare - Senior

Overview

Lead design and delivery of healthcare facilities, coordinating teams, docs, and client relations.

Tasks

-Documentation coordination with consultants (structural, MEP, lighting, AV, acoustical, accessibility, building envelope, life safety, etc.) -Review and contribute to proposals and contracts -Contribute to the maintenance and oversight of the project manual and specifications -Responsible for delivery of documents with design intent and top-notch technical quality -Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews -Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships -Actively participate and contribute to the financial performance of a project -Resolve complex technical and design issues with team to produce innovative, technical, constructible solutions -Direct production of drawings, specifications and construction administration tasks -Process submittals/substitution requests during construction and address RFIs -Contribute to office activities, initiatives and learning programs -Coordinate with the project team, client, vendors, contractors, and consultants for a variety of healthcare projects (medical office buildings, hospitals, outpatient clinics, surgery centers, community health centers, etc.) -Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project

What You Bring

-A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment -LEED AP (or in process) preferred -Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships through successful project delivery -Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school -Experience delivering healthcare buildings and base buildings is preferred -10+ years (preferred) of related experience on healthcare projects, from feasibility studies, pre-design, space programming, and master planning -Expertise with building codes, standards and building structures - able to lead and guide our teams and clients with confidence -Understanding of healthcare regulations and codes -Highly proficient with Revit -TO BE CONSIDERED, YOU MUST SUBMIT A RESUME AND CURRENT PORTFOLIO/WORK SAMPLES IN PDF FORMAT*
