The Role

Overview

Support LAN computers, hardware, software, networking, and VOIP for multi-location users.

Tasks

-Implement computer / user controls to secure and promote the proper functionality of user community networked computers -Troubleshoot and resolve computer and network problems; escalate and ask for assistance to resolve problems in a timely manner -Administer, deploy and support VOIP telephony equipment -Perform software reloads and upgrades for computer systems and communications equipment -Responsible for monitoring and maintaining computer operations area -Install new and / or update computer workstations, printers and peripherals, and client software for local and remote users -Maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; exercise time-management, documentation, organizational and communications skills -Organize, prioritize, and coordinate daily workload activities -Maintains IT supplies and IT assets inventory and coordinates the disposal of all unwanted IT equipment -Respond to assigned IT Tickets in a timely manner -Interfaces with vendor technical support staff to deploy and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues

-Well rounded computer hardware and networking skills -Associates degree, or equivalent work experience -Demonstrates an outstanding work ethic and a sense of urgency to resolve issues quickly and efficiently -Diagnose computer, network and communications problems -Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing (English & National Language) -Display positive and constructive attitude -Able to articulate issues, build consensus around recommendations, and define next steps -Ability to lift to 50 Lbs. -Team oriented, self-starter able to work independently and customer focused -Display business and organizational maturity -An intermediate understanding of cloud-based environments and computing -A mature yet flexible personality suitable to interfacing successfully with all levels of personnel -Strong verbal, written, analytical and communication skills (English & National Language); outstanding listening skills -Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Win7, 10 & 11 operating systems, Windows Server 2013 - 2019 -Highly organized and detail oriented -Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in IT operations support capacity
