Tasks

-Performs preventative maintenance to include engine tune ups, inspecting filters, adjusting fluids, replacing fluids and filters based on maintenance intervals or as needed, and conducting multi-point inspections to determine if other repairs are needed. -Provides outside support by providing roadside assistance, picking up and returning vehicles for service, perform tow truck activities, and taking vehicles/equipment for state inspections. -Performs minor repairs to include tire and wheel inspections, tire repairs/replacements, and rotations/balancing. Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs vehicles, emergency lighting, and vehicle accessory components as needed. -Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair on equipment such as small landscape equipment, zero turn mowers, small tractors, pressure washers, herbicide/brine sprayers, air compressors, generators, arrow/message boards, wheel loaders, skid steers, backhoes, track loaders, crack sealing machines, light towers, sand spreaders, snowplows, and all types of trailers. -Assists with overall fleet services by answering the phone, providing information, and completing data entry in the NTTA Maintenance Management System. -Performs major repairs such as internal engine repair, engine block changes, transmission changes, driveline repair, and differential repair/replacement. Performs in-depth diagnostics and repairs of vehicle systems such as engine sensors, electrical, steering and suspension, cooling, HVAC, and brakes by utilizing diagnostic tools and resources. -Maintains the fleet work area by cleaning all bays, removing trash and debris, sweeping/mopping floors, and properly disposing of all supplies and used materials.

What You Bring

-Ability to obtain class “A” CDL within 12 months of obtaining class “B” CDL -Class “A” CDL -Valid class “C” driver’s license -Class “B” CDL -1 – 3 years’ experience -Valid Texas class “C” driver’s license -Associate’s degree or technical equivalent -Ability to obtain class “B” CDL within 12 months of hire
