Onsite HR specialist handling employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and payroll.

Tasks
-Uphold compliance with HR policies, labor relations processes, and site-specific requirements. -Partner with Employee Relations or Labor Relations to address site-specific concerns. -Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. -Educate project leaders on HR programs and cycles — wage reviews, bonuses, talent planning, succession, and recognition programs. -Deliver training and promote development opportunities for project employees. -Provide site-level feedback to HR leadership to improve programs and services. -Connect the field with the bigger picture -Provide guidance on onboarding, payroll, benefits, and policies — ensuring clear, consistent communication. -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Serve as the go-to HR contact for employees and supervisors on the project. -Ensure compliance and protect our people -Utilize HR data, dashboards, and reports to guide decisions and improve outcomes. -Join 1HR calls, field HR training sessions, and other HR team touchpoints to stay connected and aligned -Lead onboarding to create a positive, consistent start for new hires. -Support leadership during critical situations (e.g., investigations, injuries, emergencies) -Support full-cycle HR processes: hiring, staffing schedules, transfers, promotions, performance reviews, and offboarding. -Monitor engagement, retention, and workforce productivity — and escalate trends that need attention. -Act as the liaison with HR Shared Services and Centers of Excellence to ensure smooth delivery of services. -Drive HR program execution in the field -Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.

-Familiar with HRIS tools, Microsoft Office suite, and handling confidential information. -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Analytical thinker - capable of turning data into action. -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -A servant-leader mentality: adaptable, reliable, safe, and always a step ahead. -3–6 years of hands-on HR experience, ideally in field-based or high-volume environments. -Sharp communicator and influencer - quick to build trust and rapport. -Regular, reliable attendance -Resilient and resourceful - ready for fast-paced, evolving, on-site business needs. -Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
