Shipper - Evening Shift

Overview

Load steel tubing trucks, inspect cranes, train teammates, ensure safety.

Tasks

-Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy -Plans for the safe loading of material for outbound shipments -Scan all bundles moved in the warehouse -Responsible for the proper loading of trucks with steel tubing -Performs a daily crane inspection to ensure proper working order -Report any irregularities or malfunctions to supervisors, managers and/or maintenance -Work in a team environment, helping other teammates with achieving departmental goals -Participate in the training of newly assigned teammates on the shipper job responsibilities -Keep work area and/or equipment organized, clean and in a safe working condition

What You Bring

-Ability to work various shifts -Must have good attention to detail -Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role -Overhead Crane and Forklift Certification preferred -Ability to obtain fork lift and overhead crane certification -Ability to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environment
