Tasks

-Lead electrical design teams and mentor junior staff to produce construction-ready design packages that clearly reflect design documentation and scope compliance -Design a variety of facilities focused on the industrial, commercial, and/or institutional sectors that may also include work with the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) or the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) -Take a leadership role in the project lifecycle, including the development of project budgets, proposals, schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocation -Undertake travel related to project work that may require overnight stays away from home. Travel is estimated to be at about 20% -Engage in business development and client relationship building within federal, state, and local government sectors -Ensure compliance with federal and industry standards (UFC, UFGS, NFPA, NEC, NESC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UBC, IEC, CE, EN)

What You Bring

-Minimum 12 years of consulting engineering experience in facility design with extensive focus on federal government/agency projects -U.S. Citizenship (required for federal project work) -Exceptional communication skills related to presentations, speaking, and written work -Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in the U.S. (multiple state licenses preferred) -Proven experience delivering IFC design packages for federal facilities
