Provide L1/L2 desktop support, hardware/software setup, and user training

Tasks

-Implement/support systems and procedures implemented by Director of IT, Infrastructure Manager and Service Desk Supervisor. -Research and vet new technologies for potential field/end user use in line with Company goals and initiatives. -Become a subject matter expert for critical apps as assigned. -Assist with onboarding of new users including computer builds, phone setup, and training of users on our systems. -Provide level 1 and level 2 support to end users including computer builds and general troubleshooting.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems and ITIL concepts a plus -Strong focus on customer service -Attain SME status for mission critical apps at the user level. -Knowledge of the following technologies preferred: Active Directory, O365 Suite including Office, anti-virus and security software, MDM software, Windows 10, ticketing systems, printer management, mobile and desk phone management -Hardware experience including desktop/laptops, networking, servers, etc. A+ certification preferred -Able to travel overnight on occasion -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Analytical and troubleshooting skills -Ability to communicate effectively with users of all technical levels -Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in CIS preferred, or equivalent amount of education and years of experience in a technical support role -Fast learner with the desire and ability to learn new technical skills
