Design civil infrastructure drawings and dredge templates using AutoCAD Civil 3D

Tasks

-Document and update drawings for record (“As-Builts”) -Coordinate with other project disciplines as required -Manage the CAD component of multidiscipline projects from start-up to completion, actively monitoring design details throughout each phase -Work with civil, environmental and structural engineers to provide detailed AutoCAD drawings for civil infrastructure, site development, and dredging projects -Serve as technical support for staff engineers and civil design technicians -Develop dredge templates and calculate dredge volumes between existing and proposed surfaces -Follow design standards and workflows while learning new technologies within the Autodesk Civil 3D design platform

What You Bring

-Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, or a similar technical discipline -Experience with Civil 3D Grading Creation Tools -3+ years of applicable experience as a civil designer utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D -Experience leading a group of CAD designers and/or developing CAD standards and templates -Experience developing dredge templates and calculating dredge volumes between existing and proposed surfaces -Consulting engineering experience with private and public clients -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar field of study -Experience reviewing and managing data from bathymetric surveys
