Tasks

-Standardize processes for dispatch, documentation, and job closeout to improve consistency -Collaborate internally on billing accuracy, cost control, and reporting -Identify training needs and coordinate technical and safety programs -Monitor KPIs for profitability, response time, and first-visit resolution, and act quickly on results -Oversee safe, high-quality startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service for commercial systems -Drive growth in service contracts, aftermarket parts, and customer relationships in partnership with sales -Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners for clear communication and issue resolution -Manage daily dispatch and scheduling to maximize utilization and responsiveness -Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing team members -Field utilization meeting or exceeding targets -Promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance -Lead and develop a skilled team of technicians, coordinators, and warehouse staff with clear goals and consistent coaching

What You Bring

Looking for an experienced Field Service Manager to lead commercial boiler and burner operations across the NYC Metro area. Hands-on leadership, strong technical background, and proven results in service performance required. -Knowledge of service contracts, parts operations, or warehouse management -Experience with Cleaver Brooks or similar manufacturers -Excellent communication with technicians, customers, and vendors -Current technician certifications and safety compliance -Proven ability to develop people and lead by example -On-time service response with zero missed commitments -10+ years of field service experience with fuel-fired boilers, burners, and combustion control systems -Valid driver’s license with clean record -Familiarity with CRM, dispatch software, and KPI reporting -Strong planning, dispatch, and documentation skills -3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role managing a service or maintenance team -Working knowledge of OSHA and safe work practices -Willingness to travel to customer sites across NYC Metro and Westchester
