Overview

Install and program complex security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion)

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Encouraging and collaborative team environment. -Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, and floors. -Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. -Conduct End-user training. -Perform system checks for proper operation. -Readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment, and test for operation. -Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position and terminate cables, wires, and strapping. -Complete and submit all necessary paperwork related to job assignments.

What You Bring

-Capable of installing cabling, field equipment & control equipment enclosures in customer locations according to the national electric code, company, and customer guidelines. -Work unsupervised to complete installation jobs and is self-motivated to complete jobs. -Understanding of the function and design of Alarm Systems. -Must be able to operate a company truck with an acceptable driving record. -Knowledge of computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; CCTV and access control systems; media storage. -High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. -Associate degree or 2-year technical school program graduate preferred. -Must be computer literate and have advanced TCP/IP networking skills. -Experience with IP addressable security devices (2+ years). -Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work paying close attention to details. -Able to work with electronic test equipment to troubleshoot complicated problems during installation. -Is proficient with all aspects of an operation of ADT A.I. core card access, CCTV systems, or similar. -Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships. -Capable of using hand and power tools to properly mount and secure equipment. -4 years of experience in Digital & Analog Camera systems, Access Controls, Burglar, and intrusion Systems. -Ability to isolate trouble to a customer network, where applicable
