Tasks

In the initial phase, you will work in a supporting role, utilizing cutting-edge technology to create industry-leading, well-coordinated, and cost-efficient construction documents. Over time, you'll transition into a more senior role, attending project meetings and collaborating with architects, developers, contractors, and other design professionals to develop efficient and practical design solutions that ensure smooth project execution.

What You Bring

This role is based in our Orange, CA office, where you'll be part of an innovative and growing team. Additionally, we have an office in Denver, CO. If you're ever interested in relocating, the option to transfer to our Denver office is available! -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong organizational and time-management skills -Ability to exercise independent judgment -Strong work ethic -Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, ETABS, RAM Structural Suite, RISA, Enercalc, PTI Slab, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). -Strategic thinker who anticipates and resolves problems -Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (required). Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is a plus. -Willingness to learn and apply the best tools and software -Licensing: E.I.T. (Engineer in Training) required, with a commitment to obtain PE (Professional Engineering License) at the earliest eligibility. -2-5 years of combined structural design experience in wood, single-and multi-family dwellings, podiums, wraps, and concrete parking structures. -Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes and standards applicable to projects located in California.
