Tasks

-Drive continuous improvement and innovation in fleet and plant operations. -Oversee maintenance schedules, defect management, and accurate record-keeping. -Ensure full compliance with company policies, ‘O’ Licence requirements, and legal standards (driver hours, MOTs, LOLER/PUWER, ADR). -Report monthly on compliance, utilisation, CapEx progress, and maintenance spend. -Manage fleet and plant budgets, CapEx planning, and asset utilisation. -Communicate health, safety, and wellbeing updates to the team. -Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs. -Lead investigations into incidents and liaise with external maintenance providers. -Foster a positive, professional culture aligned with company values.

What You Bring

We’re looking for an experienced Fleet & Plant Manager to oversee compliance, maintenance, and optimisation of our fleet and plant operations. This is a key role ensuring legal compliance, cost efficiency, and high standards across all assets. -Timely defect resolution and accurate reporting. -Knowledge of compliance and maintenance standards. -Excellent organisational and communication skills. -Strong experience managing mixed vehicle fleets and construction plant (excavators, telehandlers, dumpers). -High asset utilisation and reduced spot hires.
