Overview
Pick, palletize, shrink-wrap flooring orders and operate forklift in warehouse.

Tasks
-Keep an equipment checklist and perform preventative maintenance on equipment. -Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work environment. -Contact carrier representatives to arrange and provide instructions for loading products. -Accurately select and place flooring product orders on pallets, then shrink-wrap each pallet to ensure secure handling of heavy materials. -Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents and maintain related data. -Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently. -Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed. -Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise. -Collect documentation for outbound freight and route it to the appropriate record-keeping unit. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with their hands and arms; and communicate verbally. The employee frequently walks, stands and occasionally sits. -Schedule inbound and outbound freight to align with warehouse operations.

What You Bring
-High School Diploma or equivalent required. -Strong communication and organizational skills. -Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. -The employee must regularly lift, pull and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. -One (1) year of warehouse experience required. -Proficiency with a tablet or iPad. -Forklift experience is a plus.
