Tasks
You’ll partner with senior leaders across Sales, Procurement, and Operations to transform complex, fragmented processes into scalable, efficient systems. You’ll define requirements, set priorities, and manage cross-functional delivery of initiatives that improve forecast accuracy, cut manual work, minimize fulfillment delays, and align supply chain execution with strategic business goals. -Develop an intimate understanding of our supply chain, including workflows, data, and systems that govern this area of the Schumacher business -Clearly define customer and product requirements, solicit ideas and feedback, gather requirements, write specs, craft wireframes and workflows, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives -Manage bottlenecks, resolve escalations, anticipate and make feature and resource trade-offs, balance the business needs against technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences -Continually optimize the product and feature roadmap and manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, time-to-market, and operational support load -Establish the product vision, goals, objectives, and key results (OKRs) for success -Define and deliver your product roadmap through a detailed understanding of our varying users’ needs and ownership of your prioritized feature backlog -Work cross-functionally with key internal partners, including product designers, software development engineers, sales, finance, customer service, legal, and business development, on a rapid and iterative product development cycle -Increase insights on user behavior and pain points. Identify, measure, and improve key customer experience metrics. Promote data-based decision making

This is a highly visible, impact-driven role for a product manager who thrives on solving operational challenges, translating insights into intuitive, business-critical tools, and ensuring adoption at scale. The position will collaborate closely with a team of in-house product managers, designers, and engineers, as well as a diverse array of stakeholders, all going through significant business transformation. A successful product manager in this position will be motivated by the interplay of business, technology, and user experience and should be able to move fluidly between high-level strategic thinking and nuanced product requirements, actively owning and managing the complexity that comes with building amazing digital products. Additionally, this person should have a high degree of data fluency and be comfortable using data as a means of drawing insights to inform product and business strategy -Problem-Solvers Who Bring Answers: We don’t just spot issues; you show up with smart options and creative fixes. -Experience owning, understanding, questioning, interpreting, distilling, and drawing insights from data -Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for clearly and concisely communicating with both technical and non-technical partners across all levels of the organization -An ability to wear many hats and continuously raise the bar, driving teams to deliver high-quality results that align with business strategy -Prior experience in organizations undergoing significant business and technology transformation, and an operational mind that brings structure and organization to complex challenges -Extremely high attention to detail, innate curiosity, and an ability to connect the dots between Product and other parts of the business -A passion for solving complex business problems with elegant, user-centric product solutions, and a history of delivering results -A data-first philosophy and an analytical mind, with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations -Proficiency with agile methodologies -Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft & Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) -Demonstrated strength in leading through influence: building trust and driving collaboration and alignment across a diverse, matrixed set of stakeholders, even while challenging assumptions and pushing for change -At least 3-5 years of increasingly senior product management experience, ideally in a start-up or established technology organization working on user-centric digital products
