Supervise maintenance staff, handle repairs, and oversee upkeep for 384‑unit multifamily property.

Tasks

-Lead maintenance team while collaborating with the property manager. -Use different skillsets: such as, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests. -Prepare vacant apartment homes. -Accept on-call responsibilities (rotated schedule). -Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors and professionals servicing the Company or property. -Implement and uphold community policies and safety procedures. -Team building and development of the maintenance staff. -Follow preventive maintenance guidelines. -Complete property work orders while providing efficient, friendly service. -Planning maintenance schedules and task assignment. -Maintain property operations and the physical asset. -Establishes daily work schedules for maintenance staff. -Overseeing large scale capital projects. -Assists in all aspects of the property’s maintenance, including grounds, custodial, preventive, corrective, deferred, and emergency maintenance.

What You Bring

-Facility Maintenance; preferably 2+ years in a supervisory role -Must be able to lift or move 100lbs occasionally -Prior multi-family experience; preferably 2+ years -The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, be available for on-call purposes, and have the flexibility and ability to work weekends when necessary. -Experience leading a team -Valid Driver's License with auto insurance -EPA Certified highly preferred -Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms -Position requires ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear -Extensive knowledge of plumbing, appliance repair, water heaters, a/c units, furnaces -Excellent customer service
