Overview

Maintain and repair HV/LV electrical systems in a Queensland mining operation.

Tasks

-Work collaboratively with other trades and operational teams to achieve production targets safely. -Perform preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical systems across the site, including HV and LV Electrical systems -Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and efficiency. -Conduct LV/HV switching operations and ensure compliance with site electrical safety procedures in accordance with Australian standards -Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities using the site’s CMMS. -Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems.

What You Bring

-Demonstrated LV and HV switching and maintenance experience -Previous experience in mining, heavy industry, or similar environments preferred -High regard for safety, risk management, and quality workmanship. -Current Queensland Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain). -Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician. -Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. -Familiarity with PLC systems (Siemens/Allen Bradley) highly regarded.
