The Role

Overview

Coordinate on‑site plasterboard installation, safety, quality and subcontractor management.

Tasks

-Approve acceptable completion of subcontract works prior to payment of contractors -Source, induct and train new subcontract labour in accordance with safety management and quality systems -Introduce new Knauf systems/products to our customers -Develop customer relationships and enhance the position of Knauf Linings -Manage existing contractors to ensure compliance with subcontract agreements -Ensure subcontract works are carried out in accordance with the Quality Management System, Knauf Plasterboard installation recommendations and relevant Australian Standards -Ensure site safety for all stakeholders in accordance with Knauf’s safety management system (including employees, contractors, clients etc)

What You Bring

-Ability and willingness to undertake intrastate travel -Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential building industry -Valid Police Check -Located in Launceston/NW Tasmania -Prior experience within a contracting environment is highly desirable -Full & Unrestricted Australian working rights -Trade qualified plastering experience will be very highly regarded -Building related trade qualification or extensive experience / industry knowledge (preferably in dry plastering) -Successful completion of pre-employment medical
