Tasks

-Handle customer calls for ready-to-use concrete price requests from the greater Montreal area and the Laurentians for various segments. -Answer general customer questions (on products, prices, application at the construction site) and discover through technical questioning the solutions to propose. -Responsible for small and medium-sized customer acquisition (Cold Call) in specific sectors, establishing relationships with new customers and achieving sales targets. -Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviours. -Promote new online and smart phone ordering tools to the company’s active customers. -Monitoring and counting of concrete block product inventories in the different installations of the market area. -Process payments upon delivery (COD) and ensure that the client accounts for which he is responsible are paid within the prescribed deadlines (receivable account) -100% Manager of the customer portfolio of the concrete block product line and responsible for optimizing revenues in this segment. -Establishment of a specific action plan to optimize the use of these new tools by the targeted clientele.

-Travel Requirements: 10%. -Required Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word, Sales Force, SAP, Batch Command. -Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously. -Work well under pressure. -Mastery of the written and oral French and English language. -Is committed to working safely at all times and on all sites. -Demonstrate thoroughness, method, and accuracy. -Ability to work effectively within a team. -Field of Study Preferred: Civil Engineering considered an asset. -Required Work Experience: Three to five years of experience in the building materials industry or a related field (sales or customer support). -Education: Diploma of post-secondary studies (DEC or college). -Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
