Assist skilled trades, handle materials, clean sites, and operate equipment on projects.

Tasks

-Organizes and cleans conex containers and gang boxes daily. -Assists with demo operations. -Adheres to all JE Dunn safety standards. -Responsible for construction gate duty and flagging responsibilities. -Assists in dismantling and transporting of construction materials. -Responsible for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance and following OSHA standards. -Responsible for accurate material identification and usage of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). -Operates pumps and equipment for site dewatering needs. -Responsible for operating a buck hoist safely and effectively. -Performs general cleaning and trash removal for jobsite trailer. -Assists other skilled trades by loading, unloading, and distributing materials as assigned. -Collects and disposes accumulated trash on and around jobsite on daily basis. -Cleans and maintains concrete and forming tools.

What You Bring

-Apprentice and/or Vocational/Technical/Trade training (Preferred) -Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner -Autonomy and Decision-Making: Follows directions and refers all exceptions to supervisor. -Effective communication skills, verbal and written -Communicates absence or tardiness with supervisor as early as possible -In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered. -Ability to follow directions and demonstrates a willingness to learn -Must be able to lift at least to 50 pounds -Punctual Attendance and Reliability -0-2 years commercial construction experience (Preferred) -Ability to complete assigned duties with minimal guidance from supervisor -Ability to identify common construction materials and equipment -High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) -Demonstrates a positive and helpful attitude -Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, both internally and externally -Must have reliable transportation -Must be comfortable working at projected heights, narrow workspaces, various depths (trenches) -Occasional activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen -Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs -Frequent activity: Standing, Walking, Climbing, Bending, Kneeling, Carrying, Swinging, Reaching above Shoulder, Pushing, Pulling, Balancing
