Tasks

-Communicate with material manufacturers and representatives for project pricing, evaluating quotations for compliance with project specifications. -Review and analyze plans and specifications for quoting water and wastewater treatment plant mechanical piping systems. -Collaborate with design engineers and municipalities to clarify plan and specification discrepancies and irregularities. -Review bid documents such as specifications and drawings to identify risks and opportunities related to competitive pricing.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of various types of piping systems including ductile iron, stainless, carbon steel, and plastic piping. -Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. -Familiarity with estimating software and material estimating. -Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and weigh risk versus reward. -Experience in estimation, construction, and project specifications. -Knowledge of various types of valves and piping specialties.
