Tasks

-Review requirements, specifications, and functional design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. -Collaboration with internal teams (e.g., developers & product managers) to identify testing requirements. -Review logs using debugging process results. -Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. -Prioritize, plan, and coordinate QA testing activities. -Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs. -Apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs.

What You Bring

-Experience in a Public Safety Communications Center is highly desirable -Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communications skills -2 years minimum leading a software testing team -Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a Windows 11 environment, leveraging Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support quality assurance workflows, including documentation, defect tracking, data analysis, and reporting. -The ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. -Basic knowledge of browser development tools -A minimum of 5 years of experience in manual software quality assurance testing is required. -BS degree in Computer Science or a proven related technical discipline. Equivalent work experience may be accepted -Solid understanding of QA methodologies. -Familiarity with system navigation, file management, and integration of Office tools with QA platforms such as Azure DevOps is preferred -Willingness to learn new technologies and enhance skills -Experience in Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and PaaS & SaaS -Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology -Applied knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio and SQL scripting -Experience with Playwright automated testing tools -Familiar with Agile Scrum Methodology -Ability to step up in a fast-paced environment and be accountable.
