Install and maintain escalators, ensuring safety, quality, and customer liaison.

Tasks

-Submits reports of timekeeping, quality feedback forms and warranty claims for material -Communicates with the builder to prevent interruptions to installation work -Is responsible for receiving, checking and storage of materials -Keeps the installation tooling safe and in good condition, is responsible for the safe working environment -Is responsible for safe, high quality, and timely installation of escalators following KONE installation methods -May be required by the supervisor to give training/coaching to trainees and helpers. -Contributes to the ongoing improvement of the product by feedback to the supply line -Manages on-site communication with the customer for day to day installation and logistical activities

What You Bring

-A clean UK driving licence (a KONE van will be provided) -Strong customer service skills -Opportunity to complete NVQ3 in Escalators at KONE and become a qualified Escalator engineer -Good written and spoken English -Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices -NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
