Extract, process, validate GIS data for pipeline integrity projects.

Tasks

-Extract GIS data from the client’s enterprise geodatabase and convert it into a file geodatabase for further processing. -Integrate and standardize extracted data from multiple sources into a common dataset. -Verify and relocate pipeline features to align with the corrected centerline. -Collaborate with engineers and project teams to validate GIS datasets before transferring data back to the client’s system. -Transform spatial data into various formats as per engineering requirements. -Calibrate pipeline centerlines based on provided documents and update feature locations accordingly. -Maintain an organized database of pipeline integrity information and support GIS-related project needs. -Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and adherence to enterprise geodatabase standards. -Develop and document detailed procedures for data extraction, quality control, and validation.

What You Bring

-Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Pipeline GIS, Geo-Informatics, Remote Sensing, Geology, Geography, or a related field -1 year to 4 years of experience
