Tasks

-Maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and emerging treatment technologies -Maintains confidentiality -Perform calculations related to hydraulics, chemical dosing, and process performance under the supervision of senior engineers -Assist in the design and development of water and wastewater treatment systems, including process modeling, equipment selection, and preparation of engineering drawings and specifications -Engineering design, including process, mechanical, piping, and pumping systems -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on civil, mechanical, and process design tasks related to treatment facilities and infrastructure -Ensure designs and deliverables comply with company quality standards and applicable codes and regulations -Support the preparation of technical reports, and cost estimates for water treatment projects

What You Bring

-Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam -Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment -40 - hour HAZWOPER certification -0–4 years of experience in process design, construction, or operation of water and/or wastewater treatment systems -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills -Nimble learner and adapts well to change -Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering -40 – hour MSHA certification -M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering -Exposure to procurement and construction specifications -Active listening skills -Emotional intelligence
